Huts of the Tremblade

Located between two estuaries, facing the island of Oléron, La Tremblade (4,623 inhabitants) lives off coastal fishing, oyster farming and tourism.

Symbol of the town: the oyster huts bordering the channel. To give life back to the landscape, the town hall decided to rent these huts and their wharves to the boaters.
